Most property purchases are made up with some sort of borrowing, normally a mortgage. Here at Days, we offer only independent advice so there is no pressure on you as the buyer or seller to use them. We would get all offers checked to make sure the sale doesn’t fall through because the buyer cannot fund the purchase.
We have a panel of trusted mortgage advisors who can help you find the right mortgage for your needs. We will also help you with the application process and make sure that you understand all of the terms and conditions.
Solicitors
Finding the right solicitors can be worth their weight in gold. There are a lot of cheap online solicitors which on the face of it are the cheapest but turn out to be the worst solicitors as they will cost you more in the long run both financially and emotionally.
We always recommend either a local solicitor or maybe one that you have used before. The benefit of local is you can see someone face to face and often they will either have sold a property in the road/area your buying, so their local knowledge is key.
Property surveyors
We can also put you in touch with a qualified property surveyor who can carry out a survey on your property. This is a good idea if you are buying an older property or if you are concerned about the condition of the property.
The surveyor will look for any potential problems with the property and will give you a report on their findings. This information can be useful in negotiating the price of the property or in making decisions about repairs or renovations.
